myFlower

Actually my flower is a Bee. Well, not really a Bee, but this is how I call my girl. She has the name of a flower, Brandusa, a pretty and simple flower, just like her. But the flower from below it's not a Brandusa. The sad part is that i don't even know the name of this flower, but it's a pretty one. The location of this photo is in the heart of Transylvania (ya, that Transylvania, land of Dracula) near my hometown, where there is a small but beautiful forest.

In the spring, the forest gets loaded with beautiful flowers. But what I like most, is the contrast between the old brown leafs, and the new green of the fresh grass emerging like a rocket from the ground.

And since I mentioned my Bee, here's how my cute and beautiful princess looks as a flower :)

Those are Branduse (plural of Brandusa), or Crocus in English, a flower found mostly in the mountains (at least here in Romania) or in the sub alpines forests. Romania is loaded with beautiful and good smelling flowers, we have lots of fields full with sexy flowers. It's enough to take a small ride outside of any town and you'll see (mostly in spring) endless fields colored with a large variety of flowers.

Photos taken near Reghin (Violins city) in Padurea rotunda (Round forest).

MyBoat

Well folks, long time no see. I've been very busy latelly, but I still got the chance to shoot some pictures. This summer I was on a short vacation on our beautiful seaside, The Black Sea. But more on that a little bit later. Now, I wanna tell you something about the pride of Costinesti (the place where u cand find most of the young tourists), the Evanghelia wrek. In the late 60's, becauze of the poor visibility and ungly weather, the boat got to close of the Costinesti's shore. The captain thought he's close to Constanta, but actually, he was more close to a V shape cliff. Becauze of the enourmous costs of putting it back to the water, Aristotel Onassis (it was his boat) decided that it is better to leave it there, and so, Evanghelia became a national simbol for the romanian seaside. And believe it or not, I was there also and I was almost a stept away from not comming back.....well, sort of :). But about this adventure, in another post comming soon :).

myPalace

Not far away from Snagov, there's another beautiful and peacefull place. Near a smal lake lies Bracoveanu's Palace wich is an architectural monument that combines Wallachian and Byzantine decorative features with traits characteristics of the Italian Renaissance. The palace was build between 1698 -1702 by Constantin Brancusi (a famous Romanian Voivode) for his son, Stefan and even if it was destroyed after his death, transformed into an In and forgotten, now it rises more beautiful than ever.
And the soroundings? Aaaaa, now there's a place were I can live :)

myLake

Now I'm gonna brag a little bit. This one is taken near the Snagov lake. This place is well know as a "pool" for the richest guys in Bucharest and maybe Romania too. I have a Godfather who lives there and from what I've seen, his "vila" was the smallest one. Anyway, I spent there a awsome week-end. I was feeling like a king in his beautiful country.
P.S. I was with the boat too on that lake :)

myTree

This is the first time when I see something like this (of course, we're still at Lobogo, from the previous post). The process is simple: u take a tree, a near by river and a prety long hose. You put one enf of the hose in the river and the other end above the tree and u let the water to spray the tree for 2-3 days, and there u go. You have a cristal frozen tree. Ah, I forgot to mention the golden rule: wait until the tempereature is below 0 degree Celcius :)

mySnow

I had a great week-end near Homorod, at Lobogo hotel, in a beautiful place with an awsome weather. It was full of perfectlly white snow. It was a dream, a fantasy, a fairy tale, but also seemed very real becauze I felt almost every snowflake that came from above. Of course, that is not true, but sometimes, I like to dream, and what perfect place for doing so is this. Just take a look and see for yourself. Or even better: get on the firts train and head to Harghita County (where Homorod is) and feel it for yourself.

mySorrow

Isn't this amazing? My only sorrow for this one here is that I took this picture from the car, and sadlly, the quality of the picture is not the one I had in mind, but anyway, I know that this kind of scenery can be seen all over the world, but don't you feel like you can watch this every day? I know that I'm not tired of seeing and admiring Nature's wonders.
